Post Office

The Post Office is in the village of Thorpe Thewles and is also the village store. The opening Hours are: Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri 9a.m. to 1p.m. and 2p.m. to 5p.m.; Wed 9a.m. to 1p.m.; Sat & Sun Closed.

Fulthorpe Garage

Fulthorpe Garage is on Wynyard Road near the entrance to the cycleway and the Grindon Loop. They carry out all vehicle repairs (except welding & paintwork), MoTs, sell fuel and have a breakdown service. Hamilton Russel and Vane Arms

Grindon Parish Hall

Castle Eden Pick your Own Fruit Farm

The Castle Eden Pick Your Own Fruit Farm strawberries field is just a little further up the lane than the main entrance to the park.
