Located between the Port Clarence housing estate and the developing Saltholme International Nature Reserve, the Community Farm covers an area of 7 hectares. Animals kept on the farm include sheep, goats, chicken and pigs and are a valuable resource, providing a taste of country life in a heavily urbanised area. Internal facilities include a basic classroom for visiting school parties, viewing pens and toilets. Outside, the farm offers several small fields, chicken and geese houses, a small wildlife pond, play area and car park.
